We can share the blame

We can share the blame

A Poem by Maxwell Ryder
"

Written Jan. 7, 2017

"
It happened one night
I left on the light,
Sat and stared
At the red strands
In your hair, and
said to my delight,
We're gonna make
A baby and give it
Your blue eyes,
Your cool smile;
But this babe
Will have my name,
My style, but
Whatever's left,
We can share
The blame.
