Summer On The Rocks

Summer On The Rocks

A Poem by Charlotte Lee
"

Inspired by the many summers I spent on the rocks and at the beach when I was younger.

"

You trip, you fall, I offer my hand,

I pull you to safety, again and again.
You find, you carry, I give you direction,
I have the ideas so clear in my head.

You laugh, you throw, I jump out the way,
I yell your name, but send a smile back.
I work, you play, we do it together,
It’s gone the next day, so we start it again.
