Mirabilis Beyond Measure

Mirabilis Beyond Measure

A Poem by Max Meunier

flustered with fervid feeling
efflorescing vernal vales
in a solace sempiternal
presently to no avail
orpiment once moored the landslide
dormant as the days now dulled
filaments in full reflection
cast upon glass parasol
fastened to the lasting flashes
flecked by flames of fickle plume
crippling cries denied of fallout
languish amid days of ruin
mirabilis beyond measure
bellows forth ebullient fires
burning breaching hopes eternal
spurned atop supernal spires
