Lost As I Lay In This Ponderance

Lost As I Lay In This Ponderance

A Poem by Max Meunier

moments fall to reform fusion
beckoned by the unseen eye
circumstances born so fragile
each as finite as its forebear

ever veiled by evolution
time doth stretch to sate the soul
figments framed by fate's affliction
hindmost as fiction extolled

every infinite horizon
looms in skies of false allure
elements extenuating
the consequence of our domain

lost as i lay in this ponderance
fraught with inferences infernal
searching for illusive answers
heedless of our prodigal errs

for though our thoughts know boundless breadth
they hail from void intangible
given to forgo somatic
sensories in wastrel wont

let me then release this burden
grasp the urgency emerging
from infancy to all eternal
implications most profound
