Beware the Silence Spurned In Shadows

Beware the Silence Spurned In Shadows

A Poem by Max Meunier

beware the silence spurned in shadows
stalking every spoken thought
digging through the days discarded
doling out distorted truths
from the ashen aftermath
of machinations amative
once aimed to frame a narrative
that narcissus himself would note
written on the walls as wisdom
writhing in disparity
freedom found in fates effacing
knowledge of a faceless void
so this cycle circumventing
witness born to wanton wiles
e'er ensnares the unsuspecting
in its web of willful guile

This poem is amazing.
"beware the silence spurned in shadows
stalking every spoken thought
digging through the days discarded
doling out distorted truths"
The above lines are true. Silence can kill what is left to a dying place. Thank you Max for sharing the excellent poetry.
