Evolution of a Disaster

Ignorance outlives bliss

we can only reach out for balance

our inner struggle pulling us to-and-fro

the conflicts of our passion sustained

but leaving us no directive to follow

we affect but lack the will to change

navigating the terrain through reaction

our inherent need for acceptance

proving to be our one greatest distraction

we destroy what we need to exist

the dichotomy in our nature too strong

our most treacherous relationship

we sabotage all else for it to prolong
