For Your Kindness

 

To sweet is the ecstasy of life,

it beckons the heart, rejoice,

Oh eat of the fruit of eternal life,

this glory a birth of choice.

 

As I sat and gained such knowledge,

God's spirit touched the day,

for my heart was filled with light,

and God showed the way.

 

Jesus is the answer,

His blood, the meek do wear,

His flesh, the meat of the rich,

His children, his love they share.

 

Your soul did share in joy,

such thought and inner voice,

and for this gift so fair,

I pray your heart rejoice.
