Mark and Carol are the parents of four kids. Only after a plane crash do they realize the importance of family. Unaware of the terror the island they are on holds they soon discover an old house that once held the Jackson family and is under the protection of a ghostly spirit Catherine, who protects the one living Jackson left, Olive. But since the stranded family entered, the ghostly horrid mother spirit enters to haunt and Kill olive and maybe the stranded family. Catherine will stop at nothing to protect Olive, even if it means killing the ones olive loves.
