Another Friend

Do you really need JUST another friend?

I have plenty
I don't need just another friend.
One who keeps me for convenience.
One who needs me every now & then.

I need someone in my life
Who will understand in the end,
With all the crap that I've been through
I don't need just another friend.

Being a back up,
Plenty of times I've been.
Loneliness it brings,
I don't need just another friend.

It brings me to tears
These emotions I wish I could mend.
I hate what I've become,
Just another friend.
