MY LOVE.. MY LIFE...

MY LOVE.. MY LIFE...

A Poem by harman kour

I walk and they say I run
I start and they say I have done
I dream and they say I have become
you are wrong if you think
they are haughty
you are wrong if you think
they are boastful
they are those pious souls
without whom I am...
an undiscovered shell on the shore
a hapless being
a useless thing
they give me strength
they give me power
they wipe away my tears
before I cry...
they mould and shape
they stitch and scrape
to make me virtuous
and I become lustrous
what I am I could never be
without the blessings they bequeath on me
they have enormous trust and faith in me...
and I'll try to never let them down
I'll be their pride
because they are not just my parents
they are my love! they are my life!

This is a very true poem about how our parents help to encourage us. They try to keep us going in the right direction and give us guidance that makes us better people or doesn't allow us to give up. This is a wonderful poem about parents. Not about the hugs and smile but about the side of them that wants us to accomplish our dreams and to make a good life for ourselves. I love how you chose to write this poem. Great job.

Dear harman,

Wow. Very nice. Not everyone has the fortune of having such wonderful and nurturing parents. Fortunately, I can say I also had such parents and what a benefit and resource to my life. They have strengthened me and protected me when I was young so that I could grow strong enough to face the world on my own, the highest calling of a parent. Both have passed on, now, and I miss them dearly.

Wonderful job of bringing out your love for your parents. Well done.

Very best regards,

Rick

It is a wise poet who accepts all criticism, not only the 'good job'. However, I find this poem is a very well-written freelance style write. Good Job.

You got a lucky lot in life to have parents like that. Most people I know spend more time complaining about their family than anything else.

It's a moving tribute if nothing else. Feels a little over the top to me, but that's alright. If that's how you feel, that's how you feel.

wow!
this is the best thing you can dedicate to your parents
talking about the poem i must appreciate the metaphor in 11th and 12 th line
and you have an enormous treasure of words

parents are like jewels in our life they encourage us, help us when we are suffering at any time but biggest thing they do for is sacrifice and they never show that they had done any
Great write i must say....
