hmm... this is always in my mind... yeah ALWAYS! Terror, violence i loathe it... i wish we together get our world rid of it as soon as possible...

Attack in London!

Twin blasts in Lahore!!

10 soldiers gunned down!!!

5 houses were burnt!!!!

Such never ending incidents of violence

Make headlines all the while

How long is it going to last?

Will it ever come to a halt?

What gives a man courage 

to slit other man's throat?

What makes him take up arms

to annihilate the throne?

Where does the audacity

To kill and to suppress

To dominate and depress come from???

Is it power? Is it money?

Is it religion? Is it revenge?

Why don't they ever give it a thought?

How much have we lost?

How much have they gained?

There are questions abound...

My mind is cluttered!!!

But they all go unanswered...

And my hopes are shattered!!!

Until I find my answers

I will incessantly keep praying

To make this world a better place to live in......

i don't know if i have been able to express myself well or not... But these feelings come from the core of my heart... Violence leave us alone!!! The title is a question mark 'coz the poem itself is full of them... i hope it's not odd!!!

It takes anger to make a man or woman kill. For sake of family or self defense. Soldiers are trained to kill and act without mercy. Will be no peace in this world till the guns are put down and men/woman of peace run this world. Your poem is the dream of many. Too bad men who run the countries thinks threat first before a smile and a handshake. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
