Someone had fallen in love, the celestial sphere realized. So it craned its hazy neck, to witness who it was. There it saw a bride, angelic - her beauty divine. She had bowed her head, but not because she was shy. In her finger she wore a ring, which reflected her beauty sublime. She couldn't help but stare, her glowing, flushed face. While others thought she was timid, too scared to look people in the eye. The celestial sphere realized, that someone had fallen in love - with herself!
A new dawn in the life of an erstwhile wallflower - this is the birth of a butterfly Maumil.
Excellent twist at the end. well penned my friend.
I especially loved that 'celestial sphere' reference and had to research that - thank you
Hahaa...thanks very much for reading :) That is a good interpretation

An outstanding poem Maumil! You've turned an ordinary concept (though special) into an extraordinary poem. The thought is very unique and I loved your expressions like -
So it craned its hazy neck,
which reflected her beauty sublime.
Hazy and sublime are such perfect expressions! Hats off! :)
She couldn't help but stare,
her glowing, flushed face.
While others thought she was timid,
too scared to look people in the eye.
A general notion of how people judge things by the look of them expressed beautifully. I love the amazing imagery throughout this poem and in these lines too. :)
The celestial sphere realized,
that someone had fallen in love - with herself!
An unexpected end that makes the poem totally unique and all the more lovable. I'm sure every girl will love this! ;)
A bit materialistic, a bit vain , now she can solve both issue with this ring on her hand. I hope she
comes back to the wedding in time to get married.
I did love it Maumil... it was a beautiful write. Sometimes it takes a lot to love ourself... and sometimes we never really understand the importance of loving ourself. You provided beautiful descriptions and a beautiful picture to go along with the write :)
