My Faith in You

My Faith in You

A Poem by Maulth
"

This is devotion in it's most unstable vessel (me :) )

"
That fronted smile fell from your face,
An act that was to put them at ease.
A look of worried confusion left in it's place.
You've lost your way along the proverbial seas.

It has seemed that lately, time has stopped.
Hardship and pain have taken their hold.
It seems that misfortune's the only one to knock,
Leaving you desolate, and out in the cold.

You're unsure of what you want or need,
You just know that it's not me.
No matter how I try or how perilous the deed.
Your face, your tears, the only thing I see.

If only words could justify your pain,
As your tear drops fall without a sound.
Your loss and lack of hope so plain,
I'm here to tell you, I'll always be around.
