Gramps

Gramps

A Poem by Mauley

Jesus took my gramps away, it's sad he had to go
but Jesus took him in His arms, He loves my grandpa so.
He said, "You had a job to do, that job is now complete,
now come and rest your weary soul and worship at my feet.
You passed the most important trial I sent along the way...
you bore the name of Jesus Christ up to this very day.
You offered yourself up daily and sang praises to the Lord,
come and see your mansion for great is your reward!!
"You made me very proud!"  God said with a smile.
"You finally made it hear at last, Welcome Home My Child!!"
