The Lone SwanA Poem by Bandit Wordsing
The Lone Swan
The lone swan sits in the lake alone,
But why doesn’t he leave?
Does he sit and await the flock that
abandoned him,
Or does he sit because he can?
Does he think that if he waits long
enough
They will return?
He doesn’t know
if he should move on or continue
waiting.
But the lone swan thinks:
Don’t we all.
