Rainy Days

Rainy Days

A Poem by Mr Oasis

the raindrops falling, through a city slicken street
boots hitting the pavement, a city  full of terror weep
conscious of a pain, that nobody ever desires
full of hurt and agony, as this city now requires

beautiful structure all through the sky
as i sit by the sidewalk and watch the rainclouds flow by
my deep secrets kept as i sit here and wait
pale in the face, but nothings left here but hate

stricken by laughter, as i open my eyes
nothing left here but a couple paralized
but only by laughter will they make it through days
and not even hate can destroy them, as they pass on their ways

wishing i could see what they persue their laughter as
as i lay my head upon a cold window glass
thinking of how to get there, and where this path may end
as i wish upon a star, my heart does hurt, but a new path will begin
