Linda

Linda

A Poem by Matt
"

This poem was written for a friend as a it of a laugh really but turned out pretty good so thought i would post it!

"
I still remember the day we met
The way you made me smile
As you told me stories of what you were like as a child
Of your mischievous behaviour...of how you were a wild child

I seem to recall thinking what do we have here?
Im not saying you are always in trouble
But memories of you being well behaved are unclear

Ok I will be a bit less harsh
These days are now mostly in the past
Though I was made aware of an instance last week
Did you really need to knock out ALL her teeth?

I know I know that never happened
Sorry I made that up
I'm just rambling now you must of heard enough
But writing about this person that no one has guessed
Is starting to become fun
you bring the humour to the party
Your personally is like a ray of sun

Any problems that may arise we need never fear
For any time we need a friend you are always here
And when we need a shoulder to cry on
Someone to lend a hand
You are always willing to help and guide us
Like only you can

I'm almost to the end of this poem..these are the final lines
But Linda you are one in a million and a very rare find
So thanks for making everyone laugh and here's to many more
Let's toast to Linda and andy to whom this poem is for
