i’m crying at my desk.  There is a party outside.

I wonder if the people out there -

the young people, the alive people, if they know:

if they know they are immortal

rocking back and forth drinking and singing and laughing

i wonder if they know I am inside

i am withered and fading

my heart is tired, there are no more songs in here,
