Nevermore

Nevermore

A Poem by Silence Dogood

i have spent days waiting.

waiting for the right one.

I dont know if she will ever appear to me.

Sometimes i just wish she would come to me just as easily as wind blows over the mountains.

our world is simply oblivious, ignorant and selfish; it does not pay attention to the outsiders, the lonely, the forgotten. Nevermore.

Will the world ever know?

Will it ever wake up to the real?

These questions may never be answered but i will write on.

While the world sleeps. Nevermore.

Those who don't have anywhere to go; they are continually shunned and cast out.

the different. I used to be one of them. And it pained me, from the depth of my soul to the center of my being.

And the world ignores me. Nevermore.

But i will wait. Forevermore.

There will be a day when no one will cry out.

When no one will be cast out of possies and popularity.

I speak for the wounded. The loners. Nevermore.

Even as a man I'm not afraid to say that this nearly brought me to tears. I can't begin to explain how well this piece has been put together. I truely look foreward to reading more of you work :)

Very nicely written. Aren't we all searching for the "right one"!!
But it's not meant to be that simple, that's the obstacle. But it will be worth it!
Keep up the great writing!
