FreedomA Poem by Matthew Green
I have my freedom now The rules I can eschew No guide or map or compass needle tells me what to do
No path below me guides my feet I wander where I will I could go wherever I want, so why do I stand still?
There's a whole world to see, and I could go explore it all, but I don't know where I should start, and I can't see where my feet are taking me.
I have my freedom now, but I also pay the cost: For all my talk of roaming free all I am is lost. © 2009 Matthew GreenReviews
