A Poem by Think in Theory
"

Words are so powerful! Whether your own or the ones you take from others!

"

I am held captive by my voice
I can't say what I feel to you
You take my words and use them for your benefit
I have no freedom, let alone choice

I am wrong when you want me to be
My opinions don't matter
I could be as right as rain
You'll still make my heart shatter

Love is but a noun for you
Minuet and small
You say it with such ease,
As if to suffice my feeling

I've never know such an artist as you
Able to take a soul and morph it
Make it into something far from the truth
A sculpture of shame and hatred

A master of destruction inside
Behind your eyes lay a demon
Such a seemingly innocent frame outside
No one else can see your thirst for killing

You wage wars with the weak hearted
The broken people searching for strength
You are a beast who starves for tears
You eat them up and are only full
When I can't cry anymore

Who made you, surely not God
You are something else you monster
There's nothing left here for you
Flee from me

I have been sucked dry
Picked clean, ate whole
Move on to different prey
This one is nothing but bones
