I'm Not a Poet

I'm Not a Poet

A Poem by Just_Matthew

I'm Not a Poet, I'm a Carpenter
With my tools I'll fill your heart with Furniture.
I'm not a poet nor a carpenter
I was told to Invest in nature.

I'm Not a Poet, I'm a Public Speaker
Close your ears I Breathe Lies.
Better a poet than a public speaker
I curse the words I said above.

I'm Not a Poet, I'm a Concerned Teacher
Bow your head I'll nurture you with my lecture.
Tell me what bothers you 'fore I'm also a Preacher
God sent me here as a Mythical Creature.

I'm Not a Poet, Carpenter or Public Speaker
I'm too young this life is for an elder.
I'm Not a Teacher, Preacher or a Mythical Creature
What I am is a Lost Kid who seeks Shelter.
