Dear Gran

I wrote this poem for my grandma who's up above. She was and still is my everything.

I Remember Everything as it is
You'd say "I'll be Gone" as if it were a Joke.
Those words struck fear into my Heart
I still had Hope so I'd scream NO.

Dear Gran this is not a Poem or a Message
It can be anything just not both.
Your Son is Lost and a Long way from Home
Trying to Hang on because you taught me the Ropes.

Your Beautiful smile, your morning Kiss
Your Love and Care: Your Touch so Rare.
I shed Tears 'O dear it is You that I Miss
I stare at the sky hoping you'll descend from the air.

When You Left Nothing Stayed the Same
The Truth is Nothing will ever be the Same.
All I Have are these pictures and Memories
To Remind me how Beautiful and Loving my Grandma Was.
