Intergalactic Intercourse the Energizer Bunny

Intergalactic Intercourse the Energizer Bunny

A Poem by Matt Stitzel

The plumage of my foolishness in its false fullness
These remnants of reality lead me astray
Memories of a untold soul's story ends in a lost kiss

With a lightning filled notepad in a empty and heavy shyhand
With steamed heat in my head, looking for
far away hollowed holdouts hidden in a storybook land

Wisdom of smokey shadow shamans fill my lovesick head
Shrouded in mysticism and speak in ryhme
Warning us of fools who rush in, where angels fear to tread

Found furious fires lit with astrological shooting stars in her eyes
Feel galaxies colliding in my heart with each
And every second apart meantime a section of our shared soul slowly dies

Low moving fog and dust dawns ready light the candle of the night
The crossroads covered with crops blown away
From the farm after the tropical typhoon that breaks my line of sight

Meaningless majorities of shallow schemes seem to be behind everyone else's minds
Shaken awake from hypnotism's dream
Scenes scented with stale perfumes from elder age of vivdly underutilized life lines

Wild and wartorn winds gust up what's left of old still open wounds
Whisked away into the woahful mist whilst
On the cusp of lust that whelps in the weeds like a lost dying hound

Waves of rolling wheatfields freshly wet from the embrace of sofly falling rain
Lying in the meadow by the creek
Greeting the glowing of the shining sun letting it ease pangs of poignant pain

An ending no where within view
lost in this wallflowered filled room

Mind completely splattered in this tattered tear down of a life
