There Is No Darkness

There is no darkness

the light of the sun

will not slay.

There is no coldness

that can shackle

the blue sky whole.

Nature's greenery

will cast out

broken limbs and failing leaves.

Miserly rain must relent

before the rainbow

of ruby and emerald joy.

Like the spring blossoms

giving birth to renewed days

so too

your life will grow anew.
