The Wall I built around myself was made to keep out the sadness, but that wall only deceived me. For, it locked me away with my sadness and tears and scared away the happiness.

"Why don't you ever talk?" Hail's eyes widened, she didn't expect this, this was not supposed to happen. She was the silent girl, no one was suppose to talk to her, and yet here she was surrounded by monsters disguised as girls.
"Speak up little freak we can't hear you?" Giggles, there they go again, laughing at her pained expressions, and teary eyes.
"I-I-"
"What was that?"
"I-I-" She stuttered out a reply, but once again was cut off by a series of laughter and jeers.
"Look at the poor thing it can't even speak!" No she couldn't for one thing she was scared, this had never happen to her, not even at her old school. The old school they couldn't see her for she was completely invisible, but here at this new town it seemed she was clearly visible.
"Why don't you ever brush that birds nest?" A few students walked past and glanced at the scene. They looked upon the girl with pity filled eyes, but none of them stepped in to help her, because that's just how things went.
"S-stop it,"
"Sorry we can't hear you,"
"You'll have to speak much louder than that,"
"s-stop," but her voice only seemed to falter.
"Maybe it's time you get a hair cut?" The silent girls eyes widened and she stared up at the blade which was held by one of the six girls.
"G-go away," she tried once more but to no avail, they still only laughed at her pitiful attempts.
"Look at it, trying to speak like a big girl," well at least they acknowledged her as a girl. She should have ran, she knew from the moment she saw the girls point and giggle at her that she should have ran, but now she couldn't. She was cornered into a brick wall a small group of witnesses watching, but not interfering. Why did Nix have to get that detention, she would have known what to do in a situation like this. Before she could even scream, the girls had pounced. One girl sat on her stomach, while another held her legs, a few girls were holding down her wrists not bothering to be gentle.
"S-stop!" Louder this time, but still not loud enough. She wiggled and squirmed but only managed to worsen her situation.
"Stop moving you little witch," but she kept moving. She was the silent girl, this wasn't suppose to be happening. She was suppose to be by herself in the back of the classroom, being ignored. She wasn't suppose to be attacked like this, she was suppose to be having her little nonsense debates with Nix. She was suppose to be with her mother, suppose to be crying over the death of her father, but no. She was here, under half a dozen girls, with tears streaming down her dirty pale cheeks. She was there, being sat upon and used as a personal barbie doll. As stinging slap finally stopped her from moving, she stared up at the girls with helpless eyes praying to god that maybe one of them had a heart, but god doesn't grant prayers to little fools like the silent girl. So she stopped feeling, she stopped moving. She let the girls yank her hair, ruthlessly slice her long tresses, and pull at her bruises scalp. These girls were not girls, they were monsters in disguise, but why were they after her? The silent girl who sat int he back of the room. What did she do wrong? Why was she being targeted like this? Was she so absolutely pathetic that the gods had decided to release the monsters on her?
This time the pain was too great, the monster had lost control of the blade and sliced right through her pale tear-stained face. She could feel it, the crimson dripping down her cheek. Of course there was the pain, but that's not what she was concerned about. It was the feeling of her own blood dripping down her face. The cut was no ordinary cut, it had dug deep into her skin, and went from the tip of her eyebrow to her jaw.
"Sh*t!" The monster was yanked off her, maybe the silent girl was saved.
"What the f*ck are you doing?!" Nix... yeah that was definitely Nix, but it was hard for the silent girl to concentrate, because the world had started to spin. For a second she even thought she was going blind, the world keep zooming in and out of focus.
"Hail! Can you here me?" Nix?
"Hail! Stop f*cking around!" Yep that was Nix.
"I swear I am going to murder those girls,"
"N-Nix," Her voice was soft, of course it was always like that but this time it was even softer. It wasn't even as soft as a whisper, it was much softer.
"Yeah?"
"T-teach me how to speak," and had Nix not been really listening, she probably wouldn't have heard it.

Day 21
It sucks you know, when everything is going great and then it all crashes down on you. Sometimes you don't even want to fix it up again, but you really don't have a choice.

Author's Note

Mattie
this chapter may be a bit triggering, it is not completely made up, events like this one do actually happen in real life. I do not support bullying, this is simply apart of a story
