A Distant Goodbye

A Distant Goodbye

A Poem by Matt Jenner
"

The problem with a long distance relationship

"
Petal lips that quiver in pain.
Juddering eyes that see.
Strong embrace for the farewell.
'Whatever will be, will be.'
Making the miles seem so small.
Hours of feeling low.
A time that I will to make,
No more of the dark hard crow.
We never thought it could be this.
More months of long sorrow.
But soon again; precious feel.
Trust me my love, tomorrow.
