The Rebirth of Something New "Revision"A Poem by Matthew Ryan HardyThis is rewrite of "http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/matt.hardy44/767708/" which I wrote a while ago. I just decide to make it a little more into it and this is what I came up with.I try serving the one who truly care I seem like an average guy But deep down I’m a sinner I pray for salvation But I never seem to bother I try to fade away from the old But my flesh drags me back under Some day’s I feel like I hit rock-bottom But my God brings me back to the surface And I feel like a new man The start of something new Now I pray for salvation And everything seems to change I feel like reading the word And taking up my cross daily I feel like leading the faded into actuality Showing them a brand new start The resurrection of something new © 2012 Matthew Ryan HardyAuthor's Note
