Jesus Saves

Jesus Saves

A Poem by Matthew Ryan Hardy

Jesus saved my soul,

For his blood was spilled,

On the cross he died for my sins,

I am now redeemed,

My life is now saved,

From the darkness of hell,

I will now spend eternity,

With my lord,

Worshiping every longing day

"On the cross he does for my sins," I'm not sure what you meant by "does". Unless it was your way of saying "bears"?

Another very Christian and strong poem. This one almost reminds me of a hymn one might sing in church (though I have almost NO knowledge of what would be sung in church). There were a few too many uses of the word "now" for me, but it really got your feelings and gratitude across. For this one, I wanted it to go on longer. But it was still good, and I enjoyed reading about your religion and faith from a person who really seems to value it.

Another good write.
