Time to Move On

Time to Move On

A Poem by Matthew Ryan Hardy
"

By the end of me thinking of you

"

It’s time to move on,

This time it won’t be hard,

I will always remember,

You deep in my heart,

You were a really nice person,

There by my side,

Nothing can change the way,

I have placed you in my mind.

It's good to be able to easily move on when you've realized that it isn't going to work out; it's even better when you are happy for their happiness and keep the good memories in your mind, instead of the pain or anger you might have felt about losing said person. Good write and very uplifting about a love that didn't work out.

We will remember the good people who made us laugh and stood with us awhile. I like the feel and emotion of this poem. In the end all we have is memories. My Grandfather told me. "A man with a active and complete life can look back and be thankful." A excellent poem.

the repetition of 'time' between the first and second line seems kind of awkward. the same goes for the way 'you' starts both the fourth and fifth line. i like the idea of this poem, but not really it form.

This is the definition of real love -- that one can be happy that the other is happy despite the loss of the relationship.

ya got the young love thing going on...thats for sure.
what would I do?
done marry rhyme, cheapens what you are trying to say. Sure its sweet and short, but there is probably a ton of s**t that you still need to say and worked yourself into a corner and skipped som eof it.
try some expansion on for size
