One Million People, And I choose you

One Million People, And I choose you

A Poem by Matthew Ryan Hardy

Millions beyond millions

Population reaching trillions

Yet there is only one

That my heart will ever belong

Feel the important

Of how much you mean to me

There is nothing to great

As the love that holds you in my companionate heart

Days by days past

And nothing seems to change

I really believe that

You will always remain in my dreams

I still yet to see

Someone as beautiful as you

Personality and looks

Oh yeah did I mention your wondering smile

I’ll call you day and night

Just to hear your voice

Because every hour away from you

Draws me even more in love

Now I have to wrap this up

Like a present as great as you

I want to say my farewells to you

And say I love you
