A Poem by Matt Blacc

So because I'm male & I'm black
I've been considered a menace since the moment I crawled out my sperm donor's nutsack
I'ma n***a, so I'm expected to have no class & act a a*s at any & every social event
I'ma n***a, so every cent I have should be spent on Jordans, weed, tattoos & snapback hats
I'ma n***a, so if my pockets turn to chickenscratch, I'm expected to "slang crack" or "grab a gat"
And they say money is the root of all evil, I don't believe that
Cause the money you have ain't the problem...its the money you lack
Since I'ma n***a, my sex game down pat...but that's one stereotype I don't mind...I can live with that
Also, since I'ma n***a, I can throw a ball or run fast on a track, so in every sport I'm always picked first cause they think that stereotype is a fact
O yea, since I'ma n***a, I can automatically rap & dance like a showmonkey "Lean with it..now snap"
I'm not believing that either
Cause its too many black leaders for me to believe in racial supremacy
See, in this day and age, there may not be any Malcolm X's or Martin Luther King's
But that doesn't mean we're not tryna let freedom ring
We may not march & sing "we shall overcome"
But we're not running from any problems that may come
We may be having a lil fun
But no black youth in America believes racism is done
Not when Zimmermann killed Trayvon
Went on trial AND STILL WON !!!
The 2-ton weight that was carried on y'all backs has been traded
Passed down to generations & generations sure to leave you in amazement
You may not see it now but when it comes down to display it
Demonstrations of our determination will definitely show our greatness
