Another Poem About Putting S**t Back Together
A Poem by
Jesse Lancaster
erm
I am the summer rain against the window, disappointing
I am the wind through the trees, leafless
I am the exhaled breath you can't see, heat
I am distant and far apart, dark matter
I am the tingling in your limbs, amputee
I am the glass on the floor, yearning tesselate

Oh I love this one.

and once we do get it back together, it surely will fall apart once again.
like an amputee i will be feeling that limb, that pain, that problem, even if it is no longer there.
memories haunt us through wind, rain, exhaled breath, distance to and from others..and the glass remains...half?
