A Poem by Jesse Lancaster
"

12/29/12

"
I’m not tired, why sleep
leave me alone

forehead swells, I’m done talking
let me sleep
before I unravel unload unwind
implode
clusterfuck debri, grey eyes
a lion without teeth
a tree without leaves
a moth without wings
void of direction, nothing
leave me alone

throw your voice, mountain echoes
pictures piling, pity poor my
green eyes, mistaken perpetually,
they hate to see you happy
leave me alone
but don’t leave

Leave me alone but don't leave

Ah, perfectly said.

Can't tell you how many times I've heard and felt that one.

Good Writing!
