Plaza De Los Solitarios

Plaza De Los Solitarios

A Poem by Matthew Bass

The cops wait in their wolfpack

is vacant, and the snow
inches

         w
          n
            the sierras
off to the northwest.

Sometimes the blind spot
is in the most obvious place of all.
