Wait For Tommorrow

Wait For Tommorrow

A Poem by Matthew Bass

I love you, but
I will not chase you
through the loops and tunnels
of your inadequacies,
everytime you see your wedding dress
waving magically in the air

and you hesitated  again.

My heart, my soul, and
the morass in between
has always been yours for the taking.
But tonight I am very very drunk
and the morning is still many hours away.

I´ll be there tommorrow
just like every other day, if you need it.

Good things take care. A wise man will wait for something good. I like the story and the logic of the poem. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
