Feel the Rhythm

I wrote this poem relatively three years ago. I used a free-verse style to symbolize the freedom of rhythm, that is, according to the creator. Check the notes for more description, and please, enjoy!

I feel the rhythm of the guitar

Running through my veins,

I live it,

I breathe it,

No other way to

Achieve a personal satisfaction

The tuned knobs and ideal acoustics

Please my musical desires

That are within

To form a beat,

A pulse,

A rhythm.

I feel the rhythm

Author's Note

In this poem, I mention that the rhythm runs through my veins. As figurative as this sounds, I truly do believe that this component of music and verse affects each person in different ways. I see it as our simple mindset to order things in life, in a rhythm we are most accustomed to; yet each person orders things differently, because each person holds uniquely creative minds.
