Into the inkwellA Poem by Massey
I'll set fire to the skies
Lighting our eyes in the drift of darkness You may welcome the night But I fear it. A fear so dreadful For I know when the moon magnifies its light. There will be no way to save me. To drift off Leave it all behind I salute you Your double life Eyes closed Out of my sight Remember I love you. The night may have brought you to them But I make sure this heavy heart saves the day And as you sleep dreaming drastically for undetermined adventures Slip your quill into the inkwell And create yourself a love undefined Your dreams will set the stage Of our love set over time. © 2010 MasseyReviews
