Love Conquer My Senses

Love Conquer My Senses

A Poem by Mason
"

Inspired by "No One Knew What He Saw" by Chloe..Across the Universe. (http://www.writerscafe.org/PattySuzanne).

"
"You're beautiful," they say.
"I'm not," you reply.

They cannot see what I see.
Nobody loves or ever will love you like I do.
They cannot possibly see what I see.

Love conquers my senses.
Your vision, the most beautiful and attractive;
Your smell, the sweetest scent;
Your voice, the most soothing and ambient;
Your touch, soft and electrifying;
Your taste, most refined of all.

No matter what shape or form you take,
you will always be my one true love,
and we will forever share days such as this.

My libido for you shall never be satisfied.
Your image will never be dulled.
You will always be the only one
who can make my body react the way that it does.

Even through a phone,
a kiss to my chest
makes my heart go crazy,
a word from your lips
makes me blush like mad,
a single "I love you"
sends me straight to the clouds,
a warm smile stretched across those lips
releases butterflies throughout my body.

What doubt do I have
that this won't last forever?
None.

A love like ours is rarer than any other,
a love strong enough to conquer my senses.
