HurricaneA Poem by MaskedthoughtsStuttered
sentences and broken words I can’t be
heard over the roar of our hurricane. --It’s thrashing
with want and need Pulsing with
passion and desire. A fire sets
in my stomach, spreading to my chest Eyes locked
bodies reaching The hurricane
swirls and crashes the nerves intrigue and lust together. Churning pools
of heated fantasy with pebbles of unease Thrown back
heads and ragged breaths The winds
whip around us pushing us together The
electricity crackles and burns between us. My skin
aches to feel yours The water
thumps down around us Drenched we
pull closer Shivering with
anticipation My heart
becomes a wild beast Roaring with
the winds Your scent
surrounds me Your eyes
swallow me You inhale
me I’m ready to be devoured To be torn
apart by the waves Let me drown
in you Don’t rescue
me you’re all I can see through the fog The hurricane
peaks it all closes in on me Pulled under
the surface into the heat Pulled into
the heart of it all I’m set a
light sinking and sinking Until we
are one Drenched in
you the water dries up The wind
dies down I look up with
clarity and realize baby you are my hurricane © 2014 MaskedthoughtsAuthor's Note
