Losing my hold

Losing my hold

A Poem by Maskedthoughts

You're the cost of my sanity
Hold on I can hardly breathe
Your eyes twist into my soul
One look powerful enough to make me lose my hold
Your smile lights the fire in me
It makes it so I can hardly see
Your hair catches the light
Causing the sparks to ignite
Your soul dances out to play with mine; lights up my whole world and makes it shine
Your mind challenges me taking me on a journey that I never expected to be
Your everything seeks me out in the night, you silence the fight with in
Your body is making me want to sin
Your being is beckoning me into the light I can't even put up a fight
Your it for me
It's settled it's done
I don't want to run, not this time
Not from you
Because I don't know what you do
But I'm magnetized and you are the only pole I respond to
It's just me and you

Baby, come on and take me away
Make me forget the day
With you I lay my heart
Yours hits me like a dart
It's you and me
And me and you
Trust me darling this isn't through.

Beautiful, intoxicating, moving, emotional, heartfelt and romantic.
This is filled with all these emotions.
You truly have wrote your heart out in this piece.
Lucky guy to have you feeling this way about him. Have you showed him this piece?
