Finding My Way

Finding My Way

A Poem by Maskedthoughts

I can't find peace anymore.
I'm a bright soul being sucked into a black hole,
My heart escapes me
My dreams erase me
The light is draining away
I'm so desperately trying to find my way.

....

A distant memory pure with happiness,
Tingles through me
Touching the parts that ache for that feeling once again.
The memory of that simplicity
Is liquid honey warming my veins
And jolting my mind awake.
   I'm lost, I've gone,
Its been too long.
I want to find my way back to liquid sunshine
and heavy light.

I like how creatively you express the strong feelings through poem. It's seemed worth reading. Liked the choice of words.

This makes me think about having nothing inside - hollow and empty. But it's beautiful

This piece is certainly melancholy, but hopeful too. Good job. Keep it up.
