That LookA Poem by Maskedthoughts
I was ready to castaway all my feelings for you.
I was ready to look for someone new, But then you threw me that look, That look I know all to well; The one that screams out to me. Where I can see your soul blazing through your eyes, And I stopped-I stared back. Everything else faded away, And suddenly I felt like I was right next to you Instead of meters away My heart started ticking And I realized it's not over- It can't be over. All it needs is time Because no one has ever smouldered me with their eyes like you. No one else has said a billion words with one look And maybe it was just one night we had- One blissful kiss. But it's not over yet Your eyes show me everything you refuse to show, And something in my heart just knows. Don't give up, not yet, not now. Not when it's only just begun. © 2013 Maskedthoughts |
