I Give

I Give

A Poem by Maskedthoughts
"

Sometimes we all feel a little broken, and revert into our shells.

"
I give people support
Reassurance
Sympathy
Loyalty
My all.
I will go above and beyond for you.
I give so much out and I need some of it back
But when I reach out
All I get is doubt
Sometimes I just want to shout
I need you
Help me
I'm broken.
How I don't know.
Tidal waves of emotion.
I can let people in on so much
But not my feelings
I wish I could get comfort
But I can't speak
Drowning in my own grief
As I clench my teeth
I don't think anyone understands
How bad it really is
Or why I have any reason to feel that way
But I do!
I just don't ever tell you
So how could you know?
It's the past, present, future
And things I don't understand
It's okay I get it
I don't deserve what I need.

Help me
I'm broken.
How I don't know.
Tidal waves of emotion.

Describes random hours of my life with crystal clarity.
All your writings remind me of something i've lost or something i've missed out on its' like therapeutic to me at the same time it gets me all emotional. When you can touch someone who reads your writings in that way you gotta know they're good.
