Scratch Scratch Scratch

Your nails across the wall

Try to escape

Scratch Scratch Scratch

Your nails are breaking now

Smile as you scrape

Drag drag drag

Your feet across the hall

Look for a door

Drag drag drag

Your feet are aching now

You can’t take it anymore

Scream scream scream 

Inside your broken mind

Hoping for an exit

Scream scream scream

But you don't make a sound

Why can't you expel it

Scratch Scratch Scratch

Trying desperately to flee

Your tears they freely fall

Chilling. The rhythm is very useful, almost hypnotic in it's simplicity and repitition. I would try to lean more heavily into that. Making the stressed and unstressed syllables on each line more uniform, such as removing "trying" from the penultimate phrase, would emphasize the continuity of the piece. "You will never be free" also sounds a little off to me. "Never to be free" might flow better with the iambic rhythm of the rest of the piece.
