Light

Light

A Poem by Marzia

Under this black, frosty sun
that darkens the surface of life
I feel the world flowing me by
closing my eyes, surrendering to obscurity.

The dark rays absorb all the warmth
leaving behind only a week memory
of the sweet elapsed
lightness.

In this empty denseness,
that contains the echo of blind steps
I hear bodies colliding
without never reaching and
voices screaming toward deaf ears.
