Oooey-Gooey Butter CakeA Poem by Mark PearceStickyOooey-Gooey Butter Cake © 2010 Mark Pearce It’s hardly baked. It’s Oooey-Gooey Butter Cake. I’d run a mile. Jump in a lake. Anything to eat this cake. Don’t use your hands For goodness sake While eating Gooey Butter Cake It sticks to hands And fingers too. After all, it’s mostly goo. I’ll need that spoon Perhaps a rake To eat this Gooey Butter Cake. It’s what I love. It’s all I make. It’s Oooey-Gooey Butter Cake. © 2010 Mark PearceAuthor's Note
