From behind the shaker of salt
the words "I love you."

Through the forest of standing crystal
I see your smile.

Beyond the stretch of linen covered mesa –
the graceful curves that gently guide me home.

I’m a patient man, with China set before me.
At times likes these I feel the world is mine.

Nothing can disturb this perfect setting.
Dessert will be so sweet and take some time.

You capture the scene vividly and sensitively. I like the image: 'the forest of standing crystal' and the foreshadowing at the end is beautiful.

In and out of places. Lovely places and settings. And with such a light and lovely touch. Dessert will be sweet.

Beautiful description and imagery. The ending is truly divine in its subtle hint of what is to come. Great work.
