The End!

Everything has an ending. For some it's happy for some its not. But still life goes on...

All it takes is one bad day,

The memories that we’ve nurtured begin to decay.

The story was not meant to end this way,

In a blink of the eyes, my sky turned grey.

 

Would you collect my teardrops if I showed them to you?

For some it’s pretty and ugly as a view.

I have spent days, weeks, months and years,

To get over that hideous side of you!

“Hideous side…” is the punch in this poem. I see the end of a young abusive love affair. Heart felt poem.
