The Grand Scheme of ThingsA Poem by CybilltheWeirdoPerhaps, in the grand scheme of things, our problems are
merely microscopic. Like if God were to see us, he’d need a telescope. We would merely just be germs; dissected and examined
through pure curiosity. Or perhaps we are the lab rats to a grand science experiment,
being poked and probed until they find some sort of cure. But even the smallest of germs has its place. And I know this all might seem a little far-fetched. But perhaps, in the grand scheme of things, this is merely
just a stretch. Perhaps, in the grand scheme of the things, this time on
earth is really all we have. From the cosmos we emerged, into the cosmos we shall be shot
back. Like a shooting star that you confess your aspirations to. Maybe that shooting star could one day be me or you. And I know this might sound a little cheesy. I know, it is. But maybe life is cheesy and we merely just forgot that as
kids. Perhaps, in the grand scheme of things, our problems are all
just make believe. All of our worries and stresses spring from our imagination. And in a fleet of desperation to comprehend, our tiny minds
grasp hold to these ideals and make them true. We all fall victim to this delusion of control.
Perhaps, in the grand scheme of things, we’re all just
f*****g delusional. © 2014 CybilltheWeirdoAuthor's Note
